Detailing Services
Enhancement Detail | from £400 | 2 days
The Enhancement Detail is all about increasing the vehicle’s gloss levels via a single stage machine polish. The aim of this process is to remove around 75% of the swirl marks in the paintwork. This will inevitably improve the paintwork’s appearance and gloss levels, leaving your vehicle gleaming. Please note this detail also includes a 2-year ceramic coating by Pyramid Car Care.

Two Stage Paint Correction Detail | from £650 | 5 days
The Two Stage Correction Detail builds upon the Enhancement Detail process by adding a second stage in the polishing process. As the name suggests, there are two stages in total. The first stage is to use a medium abrasive compound to remove more defects in the vehicle’s paintwork. This is then refined using a finishing polish to provide even more clarity in the paintwork. The aim is to remove between 80 – 90% of the defects in the vehicle’s paintwork. Please note that this is dependent on the paint’s condition. Unlike the Enhancement Detail, no protection is included and it is recommended that a coating is added. Please see the coatings section for a range of coatings available.

Major Paint Correction Detail | from £800 | 7 days
The Major Paint Correction Detail is suited for vehicles with heavy paint defects with the aim being to remove 95% of defects. This entails a minimum of a 3-stage polishing process and will include a 4th stage if required. The polishing process is as follows: heavy compounding, medium compounding, finishing and if required ultra-fine finishing. Please note, no protection is included and it is recommended that a coating is added. Please see the coatings section for a range of coatings available.
All vehicles will undergo preparation stages before any machine polishing takes place. The extensive process is listed below:
The Washing Process
-
Wheels deep cleaned using wheel brushes and wheel wash mitt. This will then be followed by iron fallout remover & tar remover where applicable.
-
Wheel arches will be flushed and cleaned.
-
Tyre walls and exhaust tips cleaned.
-
Door shuts/ sills rinsed and cleaned. A soft detail brush with All Purpose Cleaner will be used to agitate these areas, followed by a wipe down using a soft microfibre cloth.
-
Two stage pre-wash using Koch Chemie Green Star and Snow foam.
-
Following the snow foam stage, all window sills, fuel cap, badges and other intricate areas are agitated using a detail brush and All Purpose Cleaner/ Degreaser where required.
-
Two bucket method wash process using a strip wash shampoo and three premium microfibre wash mitts. At JCVD we use one mitt to wash the upper half, one for the middle half and one for the lower half of the vehicle.

Paintwork Decontamination
-
Iron Fallout remover will be applied to remove embedded ferrous particles in the paintwork.
-
Tar & Glue remover applied to remove tar particles that have become embedded in the paintwork.
-
This is then followed by a blanket of snow foam to neutralise and flush any remaining iron fallout/ tar & glue remover chemicals.
-
The paintwork is then ready to be clay barred which is basically exfoliating the paintwork to remove any remaining contaminants. The exterior glass will also be clay barred.
-
The vehicle is then dried using two premium microfibre towels and all nooks, crannies and crevices will be blown out by a machine which pumps out warm filtered air. This is to ensure any trapped water is removed and dried with a microfibre towel.
-
The vehicle is now ready to undergo the polishing stage(s).

Machine Polishing
-
The vehicles trim is masked using 3M masking tape. This is to ensure no polishing stains form on the vehicle’s trim during the polishing stage(s)
-
This is then followed by paint depth gauge readings. It is imperative that readings are taken so that any areas of concern are noted prior to any polishing taking place. This helps to identify any areas that may have been repaired/ inconsistencies in the vehicle’s clear coat.
-
Upon completion of the paint depth readings a test section is completed to identify the best combination of polish/ polishes and polishing pad(s) to achieve the desired result.
-
The relevant polishing stage(s) are then carried out.
-
Once the polishing stages are completed, the paintwork is the wiped down with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to remove any oils/ residue left behind by the polish/polishes.
-
The vehicle is now ready to have any protection applied be it a wax or ceramic coating.

Gtechniq G1 Clear Vision Smart Glass | from £50
Unlike regular rain repellent coatings that adhere to the surface of the glass using relatively weak physical bonds, G1 uses a chemical bond which gives G1 unrivalled durability.
G1 ClearVision Smart Glass’hydrophobic function improves wet weather visibility helping to improve safety and eye strain. It also makes removing contaminants from the glass such as ice, bugs and tree sap much easier.

Gtechniq C4 Permanent Trim Restorer | from £50
C4 utilises a chemical bond to become an extension of the plastic molecule it is protecting.
The coating swaps part of its molecular structure with the surface molecules of your car’s trim. This means that you have a protective coating of unparalleled durability lasting up to 2 years.
Unlike many trim products on the market, C4 is exceptionally thin (circa 30 nanometers) optically clear film – this means it will not add an unattractive gloss finish to the surface. Instead, it restores all, but the most faded trim to an ‘as new’ condition. Since it has a strong UV filter, C4 is also ideal for new trim, helping to prevent fading..
Gtechniq I1 V2 Smart Fabric | from £50
Protect your interior from coffee, water, cola, etc. by treating it with Gtechniq I1 V2 Smart Fabric Coat. Also ideal for fabric roofs.
Gtechniq's latest formula provides even greater fabric surface protection, meaning liquids do not sit and get completely repelled from the surface.
Unlike regular coatings the nano particles of Gtechniq I1 coat the individual fibres of fabric, leaving the 'breathability' and feel of the fabric unaffected. The former means that stale air can still escape but at the same time repelling any water or oil based liquids. Being solvent based ensures a much deeper penetration of the active ingredient giving an I1 treated surface much better durability and overall performance. Typically an I1 treated surface will outlast conventional water repellent coatings. It has a durability of between 6 – 12 months on moderately used interior fabrics.
Gyeon Q² Leather Shield | from £50
Gyeon Q² LeatherShield is an advanced silica-based coating that lays down a completely invisible water and grime repellent barrier layer on leather upholstery. It uses the latest in low volatile content silicon (Si) technology to lay down a film of siloxane polymers that condense rapidly to form a highly flexible SiO2 coating that bonds to leather surfaces at the molecular level. After application, treated surfaces become more wear-resistant and virtually impervious to liquids and grime. In addition, this coating also blocks out harmful UV rays from the sun, and thus helps to prevent the treated leather from fading over time.
